Student 2 Student (S2S)

Student 2 Student (S2S) is a student-led and faculty-advised program with the mission to take care of new students. An S2S program shows students their new campus, and introduces them to their new community. It provides fun ways for new students to get to know other students, to build new peer groups, and encourage new students to perform better in school.

 According to the mission statement, "Student 2 Student (S2S) is a student-led and faculty-advised program with the mission to take care of new students. The S2S program shows students their new campus, and introduces them to their new community."

Sponsor, Mrs. Willett believes the mission statement means to bring military and civilian students together to be welcoming and help with the transitions of new students. She wants the club to positively impact the school through core values like leadership, academics, service, climate and culture, relationships, and 100% acceptance. 

S2S typically meets every other Wednesday after school in the library. This club runs three main events: 8th grade orientation, new student orientation, and an end of year party. Through these events, S2S hopes to help make a tighter knit community at Lejeune High School.
