Junior Class

The Junior Class holds the key to a successful Junior-Senior Prom!  Juniors kick off the year with the 'Welcome Back Dance' and follow it up with fundraisers to help support the prom.  The Junior Class also hosts the ring ceremony.

Junior class SGA hosted a Zombie Run 5K on Saturday, November 1. They would like to thank everyone who came out to support the Class of 2026. Along with the Zombie run they also hosted a costume contest for the participants.
As it is the junior class's responsibility to arrange the prom, they spend a majority of their year fundraising. In addition to the fun run, the class sponsors Popcorn Fridays. Every Friday LHS is in session, the junior class sells freshly popped popcorn,
sodas, and snacks at the end of the school day. The class is dedicated to hosting an amazing prom this year, and in order to do that they meet regularly; the officers meet Tuesdays mornings at 0700 to plan events. For Thanksgiving, they have planned Juniorsgiving. On Thursday, November 21, during seminar the junior class will provide food to the juniors. For Christmas, they are in the beginning stages of planning a donations drive for the Onslow Community Outreach.
